James possesses over 25 years experience with large residential, commercial, industrial, and airfield lighting projects to include all aspects of primary distribution, CATV, computer, communication, fire alarm, security systems, and airfield lighting systems.

WORK EXPERIENCE

James began his career in the electrical environment in 1976 as a project manager/superintendent with Hallmark Electric in San Antonio, Texas.  After eight year with Hallmark Electric, James felt the need to move forward.  During the next four years he worked with Fisk Electric located in San Antonio, Texas and then Webb Electric Company in Pensacola, Florida.  While both jobs brought him new responsibilities as an estimator and Chief of Quality Control, James wanted to move back to his native home of Texas.  In 1989, James returned to Texas and worked with F&W Electrical for the next two years.  During these two years, James put together a business plan in order that he could one day own his own company.  This dream became a reality in 1991.  James formed his own company.  One of James’ specialties was in the arena of airfield lighting.  An opportunity arose in 1994 when James’ father bought out his partner.  James was able to merge his company and his expertise with his father’s company and expertise.  Now they are co-owners of F&W Electrical Contractors, Inc.  The combination of years of knowledge and expertise has enabled James to take F&W to new markets and to expand its revenues.
